During the 77th International Motor Show, to be held in Geneva from March 8th-18th 2007, Continental AG, one of the Official Sponsors of UEFA EURO 2008TM, will be holding prize draws at its exhibition stand no. 1212 in Hall 1. Every day two lucky participants can each win a pair of admission tickets to one of the group phase matches at UEFA EURO 2008TM. The prize draws are open to anyone visiting the show and will be held at midday and at 4pm every day of the exhibition. The winners must be present in person at the stand. The draws will also be held on March 6th and 7th - the press days and specialist visitor day.The Geneva Motor Show is 's second largest exhibition dedicated to cars and accessories, and attracted some 700,000 visitors in 2006. Large crowds are once again expected on the official exhibition days in particular (March 8th-18th). "Many of the visitors to the show are interested not only in new vehicles and accessories, but also in the Swiss sporting event of the year in 2008 - UEFA EURO 2008TM - which begins on June 7th" explained Alexander Lührs, Head of Public Relations for Passenger & Light Truck Tyres at Continental. "We will therefore once again be holding a prize draw twice a day, like we did last year, where two tickets for a qualifying round match and two further prizes can be won with each draw." Continental expects demand for tickets to Europe's major football championship to be as strong as it was for the 2006 FIFA World Cup GermanyTM, where tickets were only available via the official FIFA website. Three winners will be picked at each draw: 1st prize: Two tickets for a group phase match at UEFA EURO 2008TM, 2nd prize: Two fold-up football goals with a carrier bag and 3rd prize: A leather football. Alexander Lührs expects a high level of participation in the daily draws, with winners receiving these prizes or a voucher for two tickets straightaway at the exhibition stand. The admission tickets themselves will only be handed out at a dedicated location at the match venue on the day prior to a specific match or on the day itself upon presentation of the voucher and an ID card. Official sales of around 1 million tickets will start on March 1st 2007 at the website www.euro2008.com and the registration process for this will already end on April 1st 2007.
